 " Nashville Songwriters Round Workshop"

 Starting on Jan. 27th 2017 I will be offering a "Songwriters Round Workshop" at my guitar teaching studio in Madison.

 This will be an "In The Round" setting where you will perform your song in front of all participants.

The workshop will be approximately 90 minutes in length and will be structured to offer the following;

1. A positive, supportive, non-judgmental space to get you used to performing in front of other people and help build your confidence.
2. Tips on bettering your performance skills, communicating with an audience and how to work with nervousness and bring it under control.
3. For those who are relatively new to songwriting we will talk about form and how to transform your song into the best one it can be.

 The workshop will be bi-monthly and will start at 6 pm.
 The fee will be $30 per session and space will be limited to 8 people per session.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Over the years I have taught students from schools
all over the Nashville area, including Home-school, and some have gone on to be very successful in the music industry. I choose not to mention there names here out of respect for their privacy. While I am extremely proud of their accomplishments I am equally proud of all of my students .Playing guitar is just great fun on all levels

 If you know someone who would like to attend The Nashville School Of The Arts, I am well versed in preparing students for the audition.Since the school's inception I have prepped and the school has accepted more than 30 of my students.. I currently have 7 students attending and I am extremely proud of all of them.

 Also for those of you who are retired or over the age of 50. I have many students in your age group and we are really having a GREAT time. You may have wanted to play all of your life but just didn't have the time and now you do. The next step is to drop the "I'm too old to start now " stuff and get on with it. In 6 months you'll be glad you did. In the last 2 years I have had students ranging in age from 50 to 88!
So let's go.

Check out my "SERVICES" page for more info on what I offer for all ages and styles.
